Happie New Year! :)

December 25, 2009 at 11:58 am 15 comments

Kids these days are real smartheads.. Here I got this New Year Wish from a young friend  who wanted me to share it with you all so putting it up!

Chilly breeze of Winters

Wet grass and dew drops on the flower petals,

All wish you along with me a very Happy & blissful New Year.

In January, warm yourself with a bonfire

and salute our democratic & republican empire.

February is to celebrate the feeling of love and for lovers,

Along comes spring in March, the month of water balloons and several colours.

In April its time for bhangra beats, gidda dance and to wear sunshine yellow,

As the crops reap we celebrate the fest of harvest.

May brings with it the message of summer,

June is time to wear cottons, eat ice-creams when long power cuts act as a bummer

July comes and we look up the sky.

August brings with it thunder storms, lighting, peacocks dancing in the rain,

and it is time for us to stand together and sing the National anthem again!

Ganpati Bapa Morya is what we all pray in September,

But October is the time when family reunions & festivities happen, remember!

with Durga puja, ramlila, Diwali and sweets,

Meethi Eid and Gurpurab in November,

As we rejoice all festivals it is time for us to sing,

Christmas carols again in December.

Wish you all a fantabulous 2010
Please take good care of yourself, watch that temper &  raise a toast to  good health!
Extend your hand towards those who need your help and support!
And smile from cheek to cheek … looks good on your face 🙂
Lots of love to you all
PS: Oh yes, everyone is welcome to prove that they are smarter than the ‘5th grader’ 😉 and post their new year wishes for everyONE.
