Color Me with Shades of the Nature, why just Green?

I always wonder why only color green is associated with environment-friendly things, projects etc. The obvious fact is because most trees are green, the only color made with sun-light and so on (I know basic science). My point is nature has various shades to it for that matter even plants have rich and different hues and so does the fauna.

Rahul has already written about how to ‘go green’ and the wrongs that are un-friendly towards the surroundings.

World Environment Day, No Honk Day, Earth Hour and other such markers do create a buzz and a little dent. But educating the literate about being friendly towards the environment is task.

On my last trip to the hills I made it a point to capture anything that were non-greenie no matter how tiny it was

Let s try to make our atmosphere clean and it will automatically be green (plants), brown (earth), blue (water/sky) and rainbow shades (flowers)!

There goes Pallavi diffusing the air from my ‘Go Green’ Campaign and questioning the hypothesis of calling Nature green 😉
Jokes Apart, you are absolutely correct, Nature has the most wonderful color combinations to offer and its our duty to let it be the way it is..

I guess it is just a way of saying. We normally associate green with trees and trees with environment. Nice pics by the way!

    Nice thoughts Pallavi.

After reading the post I got reminded of a witty definition I read some time back.

Define Human Beings: A creature who cuts tress to make paper and then writes on them “Save Trees”

I don’t think humans are powerful enough to save the environment. It’s changing at it’s own pace and will. And the universe knows it’s colours.
