Pune diary continues…

Never did I imagine that a holiday means no rationing on fun, masti and mazza. I know I sound cliched but what the heck. Saturday and Sunday were spent lazing around, playing with my niece… umm it’s nice to baby sit just that she keeps us on our toes and is a complete lets go out’ kinda girl unlike her mother 😉

Pune is Fashionable! and no I did not go to a single brand store and checked out only neighbourhood boutiques which are in plenty here quite unlike saddi Dilli. Needless to say I splurged and the girl in me is making the most of it.Chic short black dresses, tube tops, dangris are latest in vogue here. Though my purchases are a little off beat which means half a dozen Pune sarees being on number-1.

Talking of food this place has ‘n’ number of amazing confectioneries, each one better than the other. And during my three day stay so far I have tried and had more than ‘just meals’. From a typical Maharastrian thali at Panchvati to four different flavours of ice creams at Naturals to a meal at ABC farms and gorging on everything the bakery across the street ‘ French Connection’ has to offer to simply munching melt in the mouth biscuits.

Next on my list is Good Luck Cafe, Malaka Spices, Budhani’s and let’s see where else my feet take me. 🙂

One thing is certain I will return to Delhi a lot heavier on weight and equally lighter on my pocket, but what to do! What to do! I am just doing what everyone asked me to, enjoy maddi! 🙂

And do not forget the biryani at Blue nile in Camp. Plus, would you like to try authentic Marathi dishes? Do visit ‘Mathura’, it is a restaurant on JM road. Not to forget Banjara Hills and Garden Court on Chandni Chowk, one of the most unforgettable places in Pune.

    🙂
