The one who said shopping is an addiction definitely belonged to Mars who knew nothing about the pleasures one derives from it. Shopping has a balmy effect on the heart, its soothing! Like I say Zen is the philosophy of effortlessness, so is shopping, it makes you happy till it lasts and leaves you with things to feel good about.
Spend if you have, eye them if you don’t. After all, just looking and deriving pleasure is free. And imagine if a glimpse of something can make you smile, how delightful it will be to own it? Oh, I don’t go splurging, but aren’t clothes, shoes, accessories, bags, linen, home decor articles et al things of utility?
Our feet need no direction when they step inside a mall, the invigorating fragrances from Body Shop will take us there. That tee with the catchy ‘HORN Ok Please’ will make heads turn. But, how about getting organic cosmetic care products of the best quality and at reasonable prices sitting at home? Won’t it be nice to sip coffee in that flamboyantly designed colourful mug? I agree! Shopping is indeed a stress buster. If nothing, it takes your mind off worries. But then for me the shopping usually means pampering – like buying a new outfit, a beauty treatment, earrings… you know. 😀

You know what I did when I was super upset sometime ago? I went to chumbak and bought random things.. ahhh I was feeling so good after that!
I’m slightly nuts, but felt soooo much better!

I picked stuff too from Chumbak too, funky & bright, really liked it!! but I think buying stuff from there online store is so much better.
One of the stores in Delhi didn’t have all the products and Crossword had arranged stuff so badly, piled in one corner gathering dust.

I hate shopping 😛
Either it’s my Mom or my sister or anyone else, I am the one who has to accompany them. They take 2 hour to select a pendant. Now you can very well imagine how hard it’s to keep up with them while they’re shopping for clothes. Aarrggh!! 😀

book shopping? chalo chalo chalo… lekin no crosswords or landmark for me pls… Its only Midland or occasionally Full Circle :))
PS: I have a genuine question for you and the other two men who have commented on this post- if you ppl simply detest shopping who buys the tees, jeans and other stuff??? Isn’t that shopping too?

Getting jeans/t-shirts is necessity, and I tend to get it over as soon as possible.. And if someone is gifting me t-shirts, nothing better 🙂
Shopping is OK till I’m not spending 2-3 hours sweating over a single item 😛
